Sex Healer is a search for self love amidst a consumer world that professes to fulfill our personal desires and needs through products, services and entertainment. Shame, superficial self worth and hope perpetually collide in a campy video loop that never resolves. The work grasps for solutions at the very impossibilities that consumerism subscribes.

It was created in collaboration with Teresa Ascencao and Summer Faith Garcia, and with the “helping hands” of friends Aurora King, Andrea Luxon, Pinky Stroker, Jackie Brown-Hart, Eileen McGregor and Raluca Parvu.
